Hello, welcome back to my current songs on repeat. “Songs on Repeat” is a monthly feature here on my blog. I am so excited to share the songs that I can’t help but hit the replay button for or constantly search for when listening to music each month.
In no particular order, I present the songs that I search for and have been listening to consistently in my endless library of music lately.
In My Feelings by Drake
Who am I if this song doesn’t make it to my list. Hands down my favourite song in Scorpion. I can’t dance, but you can find me doing the shiggy in private, also checkout Will Smith’s #InMyFeelingsChallenge
Level Up by Ciara
I love how Ciara brings this beat back. We Are Young by Fun, Jersey Club Remix this song makes you want to dance and move your body. The video, the beat, the dance moves. It’s lit!
Child of the World by Falz
I swear, Falz makes the best videos in Nigeria, he makes sure his videos matches his songs and it’s so wonderful, how he tells stories. This song is urging victims to Speak Up and not let their voices be quieted, that people are here waiting to support them and lift them up higher so they can use their experiences to enlighten other victims, so they know they aren’t alone.
Gold by Alicai Harley
Youtube and it’s blessing sometimes. Randomly came across this song, during one of my Youtube binges.
The Middle by Zedd, Moren Morris & Grey
Oh baby, why don’t you just meet me in the middle. i’m losing my mind, just a little! -🎶 I totally prefer the lyric video than the official music video.
Roman Holiday by Hasley
Because this album is a classic to me and still my favourite Hasley’s album ever, with so many lyrically sensible songs and wonderful videos.
God is a Woman by Ariana Grande
The title alone had me loving this song and I’m so glad it didn’t dissapoint because so far so good, this is the only single I’ve instant;y taken to by Ariana, since she started promoting Sweetner.
Talking Bodies by Tove Lo
Apple Music deleted my playlists, so I have an adequate one now titled Apple Music Ain’t Shit, because of that I’m listening to all my songs on shuffle and so many songs I’ve forgotten about but loved, and being given more love these days.
Eastside by Benny Blanco, Hasley & Khaled
The video is simple and art in it’s own form, with a beautiful lyrics and soothing lovable sound.
Upgrade U by Beyonce featuring Jay Z
Just because it’s Bey, and one of my all time favourite of her songs, it just happens Jay-Z is featured on it.
What songs are you listening to? If you have any song you love and want to share with me feel free to, I might love it also!
